The Urs of Sayyiduna Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah be pleased with him) started at 10 am on 16/07/00 with the recitation from the holy Quran, followed by Naat shareef, speeches by Maulana Abdul Hamid Razvi, khateeb of Shane Rassool Mosque. Finally a speech by His Eminence followed by Halqa Zikr and Salaat-o-Salaam and Shajara Fateha ended the glorious sacred event.
A big crowd gathered at the academy, both halls were packed with disciples and well-wishers, women gathered on the ground floor and men on the first floor, the atmosphere around was filled with a spiritual splendor and many people were crying during the powerful speech by His Eminence, an occurrence which is very rare nowadays. The program ended just before Zohr and afterwards langar was served.
