After the blessings it is to inform you that in Biryavi Bazar, Surat - Gujarat [India] there is spiritual place known as 'Rifai Big Khanqah Sharif' which houses and old Moqsue, Madresa, Library, Dispensary & Orphanage. Besides these the Khanqah helps widows, orphans, and the poor and needy people from all diverse backgrounds.
This Khanqah also helps the people who are victims of natural calamities such as floods and social disorders such as victims of riots, etc. The Khanqah has no permanent and sufficient income and whatever help is given is given by the Sajjadah Nashin within his own capacity and good relations with the local community. But it is now becoming difficult to help the people because of lack the lack of sufficient permanent funds and the need for help increases everyday. It is also not good to collect funds all the time so the Khanqah has decided to create a permanent form of income which is only possible by constructing a commercial building for which we need donations. The Khanqah Sharif is constructed on a fairly large piece of land, about 30 000 square feet and the intention is to construct a 3-level building which will have a total capacity of 90 000 square feet. The estimated cost for this project is RS 3,50,00,00 [rupees] with the following breakdown:
Mosque construction will cost RS 12,50,000
Madresa construction will cost RS 30,00,000
Residence for Imam, Moazzin & Madarris and staff will cost RS 45,00,000
Library cost RS 7,00,00
Dispensary building will cost RS 16,00,000
Yatimkhana's cost RS 60,00,00
Hospital cost RS 78,00,000 and
Commercial Building for income will cost RS 12,80,000.
So we make a sincere appeal to all of you to give us your co-operation and help and ask your friends and relatives as well.
Almighty Allah will definitely reward you,
Amin
Jazak Allah
