In 1987 His Eminence, Fakhrul Islam Allama al-Hajj Hafiz Maulana Muhammad Ibrahim Khushtar Siddiqui Qadiri Razvi toured France and landed in Paris on 20th August 1997 and was greeted by members of the Ahle-Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat. On the very same night, His Eminence lectured on the life and teachings of Alahazrat Imam Shah Ahmad Raza Khan Qadiri (may Allah be pleased with him) at the Ahle-Un-Sunnat Mosque of Etienne Marey Street, Paris.
His Eminence then proceeded to Rouen, some 150km from Paris where he delivered two sermons on 23 August and on the 13 November respectively. He was pleased to see how the Muslims there were united under the banner of the 'Association Culturelle des Musulmans Mauriciencs'. He exhorted them to be at the service of Islam despite the fact that they were in Europe and to teach and impart the true Islamic knowledge. Their children also should draw their inspirations from the life and teachings of the beloved Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (Allah bless him and give him peace) and other true Saints and servants of Islam.
The impact of His Eminence discourses were so profound that the followers invited His Eminence to come back to France to participate in the Yaum-un-Nabi celebrations on 15th November 1987 at the Sunni Mosque of Paris. During his speech, he laid emphasis on the on the importance of celebrating the beloved Prophets birthday as it has been a timeless tradition, perpetuated by our wise forefathers. The program was also highlighted by the recitation of Naat by other participants while His Eminence recited Salaat-o-Salaam.
The light of the beloved Prophet (Nur-i-Muhammad) came and dispelled ignorance when Europe was in her Dark Ages and Arabia was even worse off. The promised Prophet, the Holy Spirit, the Light of Truth came and guided mankind to al-Islam without any distinctions of caste, color, creed, language or nationality. He started a force of Universal Love, unity and brotherhood, and thus laid the foundations for Allah’s kingdom on Earth.
The extent to which mankind progressed and developed in the thirty years after our beloved Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) passed away from this earthly life, was not achieved by the children of Adam in the 4,500 years before His time. Thus Islam educated the ignorant people of the earth from the desert of Arabia to China, in such a way as provide security, rights of woman, basis for the abolition of slavery, equal rights, freedom of speech,, freedom from fear, protection of the old and weak and social democracy.
The Sunni Razvi Society International, the Paris branch, organized the 69th annual Urs of Alahazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadiri (may Allah be pleased with him) and the first Urs in Paris on 25th September 1998 in the Mosque of Paris. The founder patron and guide of the Society, His Eminence, Fakhrul Islam Allama al-Hajj Hafiz Maulana Muhammad Ibrahim Khushtar Siddiqui Qadiri Razvi opened the ceremony.
